Powertrains and Performance
Under the hood, the Honda HR-V is equipped with a Full Hybrid engine that delivers a respectable 130 HP and a torque of 253 Nm. It uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, providing smooth acceleration and impressive fuel efficiency, with a consumption of just 5.4 L/100km. The HR-V accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 170 km/h.
On the flip side, the Opel Grandland offers a range of powertrain options, including Petrol MHEV, Plug-in Hybrid, and fully Electric variants. The power outputs range from 136 HP in the lower-end variant to an impressive 213 HP in the high-performance model. With a dual-clutch automatic transmission and an acceleration capability of as low as 7.8 seconds for the quickest variant, the Grandland exhibits a peak speed of up to 220 km/h. However, it does consume slightly more fuel, averaging 6.4 L/100km for the petrol versions.
